Ubuntu 18.04 touchscreen gestures no longer working
I used to be able to swipe up and down with four (4) fingers on the touchscreen and switch between workspaces, however this gesture no longer works.
I'm not sure what kind of information to provide here so please ask ahead.

The gestures in questions are the ones mentioned in gnome's website here
In the meantime, I found a temporary solution. This issue only happened in x.org, in Wayland these gestures work just fine.
Can anyone shed some light at this issue?
