base64 image source valid in Chrome but not Firefox, array buffer to base64 done wrong?

0

Here's the image https://codepen.io/anon/pen/BGJraW, you can see it doesn't load in firefox but loads in chrome.

This is the process I use to convert to base64:

const arrayBufferToBase64 = (buffer) => {
var binary = ''
var bytes = new Uint8Array(buffer)
var len = bytes.byteLength
for (var i = 0; i < len; i++) {
binary += String.fromCharCode(bytes[i])
}
return window.btoa(binary)
}

const base64Image = 'data:image/png;base64,' + arrayBufferToBase64(entireBuffer)

I'm open to any suggestion on what I can try next, I have no idea how to even start debugging this.

This is how I'm getting the array buffer, it's from an external API readable stream:

let entireBuffer
readableStream.on('data', buffer => {
if (!entireBuffer) {
entireBuffer = buffer
} else {
entireBuffer = concatTypedArrays(entireBuffer, buffer)
}
})

readableStream.on('end', () => {
const base64Image = 'data:image/png;base64,' + arrayBufferToBase64(entireBuffer)
})

const concatTypedArrays = (a, b) => {
var c = new (a.constructor)(a.length + b.length)
c.set(a, 0)
c.set(b, a.length)
return c
}
