One natural space for group action is the following:



If G is a finitely presented group, let X be its presentation complex, Then G acts ‘naturally’ via deck transformation on its universal cover.



I am curious to know if there are other spaces (different from covering spaces) on which we can ‘naturally’ examine group actions.
