ASP Calendar: how can I separate the Year, Month and Day

0

I am creating a duty profile, I want to compute how many years, months and days of the personnel duty.

So I have 2 calendars in ASP, one calendar for the start date of the personnel, the second calendar is for the end date.

Example

  • Start Date: 2016/05/23 - End Date 2017/05/24

  • Total = 1Yr/11Months/13Days

Please help

Thank you

  • Hint: Use TimeSpan to compute date & time with DateTime.Subtract(), e.g. EndDate.Subtract(StartDate).TotalDays.
